AIRE Tributary Rafts

Made to AIRE Specs

The ounce weight/denier of the welded PVC tube and floor fabric is 31/1670. The outer PVC layer is resistant to abrasions, chemicals, and extreme conditions. Inside the tubes, the urethane AIREcell bladders are more flexible and resilient than vinyl bladders, and they conform well to the outer hull shape. AIRE Tributary rafts also use low profile Leafield valves which stand up well to abuse. The rafts have slightly diminishing tubes in both the bow and the stern for better wave-punching tactics.

Six Sizes

The fleet of AIRE Tributary inflatable rafts includes:

AIRE Tributary Rafts

  • Two standard floor rafts at 9.5' ($1,500) and 12' ($1,999) in length. Lightweight and easy to portage, these sealed floor rafts offer plenty of space. Since the floor doesn’t bail, these rafts are intended for gentle water.

  • The same two lengths above are also available in self-bailing rafts: the 9.5' ($1,999) and the 12' raft ($2,750). The piano-hinged lacing floor allows any water that splashes inside the boat to drain away quickly. Self-bailing rafts can float down faster running water up to Class IV.
  • The larger self-bailing whitewater rafts, the 13.0 SB ($2,950) and the 14.0 SB ($3,150) will seat up to 8 people. Like the smaller models, these boats can be fitted with rowing frames, used with or without thwarts, or be turned into an angler’s dream when a Fishing frame is added.

What We Say

With AIRE Tributary rafts, you get plenty of room for your gear, dry bag, tackle, dog, and a few friends. The boats are made to AIRE’s high standards of construction and reliability, but are more affordable – so that you don’t have to spend a lot for a river raft that will only be used a few times a year. Customer reviews heartily endorsed these fun rafts and users say they are pleasantly surprised that the quality is better than they had hoped. Be sure to do your homework and you could end up saving loads if you opt for a new Tributary raft – enough money to cover the cost of your next wilderness trip!
