Heat Welded Seams

The Mercury Sport models feature thermo-welded seams, a superior bonding technique that makes each seam stronger than the fabric itself. In other words, you don’t have to worry about seams leaking, which can be a problem on PVC inflatable boats with glued seams that eventually break down. The hull features an extra-thick layer of PVC that is resistant to abrasion, puncture, and wear, and is further strengthened by a UV protectant built into the fabric that guards against destructive UV sunlight.

Mercury Sport boats also features three separate internal air chambers, an air keel, 16-inch tube diameter, tube pressure 3.6psi (0.25 bar), a one-way drain, and a double teardrop protective rub strake. The profile of the inflatable craft has a low center of gravity for stability, a sleek design for handling at higher speeds, and Quick-Lift end cones for better performance.
