Built for Safety
Seamax Air Series inflatable boats are constructed with 1100 denier polyester fabric, which has been coated on both sides with PVC. The PVC fabric is widely regarded as a good marine grade material that is highly resistant to tears, abrasions, and harmful effects of spilt fuel, salt water, and UV rays.
One of the features that Seamax emphasizes on their Air Series inflatable boats is the oversized buoyancy tubes for increased stability. The result is a safe boat that is practically impossible to flip over and one that can carry larger payloads. For example, the Air320 is 10'5" and weighs just 110 pounds, yet offers a maximum capacity of 1,245 pounds.
The air mat floor is another key selling point. It has two layers of fabric bonded by thousands of polyester cross-stitches. Although the air mat is very light and comfortable, the weave pattern makes the air cushion as rigid as a traditional floor.
What We Say
Since the Seamax Air Series inflatable boats are fairly light, they are easy to handle both in and out of the water. These are great looking boats, backed with a decent 5-year warranty on the PVC fabric, but otherwise, they aren’t a better boat or a better deal than what you would get with similar air floor and motormount boats made by Aqualine, Saturn, and Sea Eagle.
